VISITED PLACES: AREQUIPA, PUNO, CUSCO.
DAY 1: LIMA
At your arrival, a representative will pick you up and take you to your assigned hotel, assistance with your baggage and register at the hotel.
Overnight in Lima.
DAY 2: LIMA – AREQUIPA.
At the right time, transfer to the airport to aboard your flight to Arequipa city, known as “La ciudad blanca” (The white city). At your arrival, reception and transfer to the hotel.
At the afternoon we’ll visit the Carmen alto viewpoint, where you can appreciate the Chillina valley, The Yanahuara viewpoint and the San Lazaro neighbor. Continue the itinerary we’ll visit the Santa Catalina convent, beautiful citadel of the XVI century, at the purest style of Spanish cities of the time. The main square with its three gates ensemble around it, La Compañia de Jesus (Jesus’ company) church, beautiful example of the baroque mestizo( mixed race)art and the baroque churriguerresque Spanish art in the XVII century, along with the San Ignacio dome’s multicolor frescos.

DAY 3: AREQUIPA – COLCA CANYON.
Depart from Arequipa by Yura, passing by Chachani’s sidehills, Arriero’s pampas, National Reserve of Pampas Cañahuas where you can appreciate the slender vicuña (Llama’s family), continue by Vizcachani, Pampas de Toccra where we can observe a great variety of birds, then we’ll go around the Chucura’s crater to arrive to Patapampa our highest point on this trip( 4800 meters above sea level) and Mirador de los Andes(Andes’ viewpoint) where you can appreciate the volcanoes which surround Arequipa city. Descent to the town of the Chivay for lunch.
In the afternoon, we recommend to go to La Calera (not included in the tour) to take a relaxing bath in the thermal springs or enjoy of your lodge accommodations.

DAY 4: CRUZ DEL CONDOR – PUNO.
Breakfast at the hotel, very early in the morning we depart to Cruz del Condor (Condor’s Cross) at 41 km from Chivay, in this place we can observe the most beautiful sceneries of the Colca canyon the deepest in the world, and if the weather conditions allow us, we will have a big opportunity to take great photos to the biggest and imposing bird in the world: The majestic Condor. We’ll return visiting the many towns, as Pinchollo the only Pre-Inca town still inhabit; Maca, Achome, Yanque as well Antahuilque and Choquetico viewpoints, return to Chivay where we’ll pick our box lunch up to depart to Puno city by Patahuasi detour( from this place the road is completely paved) during this journey we’ll observe many Andeans landscapes, like stones forest, huge lakes with a big variety of birds, little Andean hamlets, towns as Imata, Santa Lucia and the City of Juliaca. After that we’ll arrive to Puno.
A representative we’ll pick you up and take you to the hotel.

DAY 5: TITICACA LAKE – UROS – TAQUILE
In the morning, we’ll make a full day excursion in the Titicaca Lake and we’ll visit first the floating islands of Uros, also named “El pueblo del lago” (the lake’s town) these islands are built with Totora large reed layers, these are used as housing and commercial centers for the natives, which sail the lake on rafts made of the same material. We continue our journey to the Taquile Island, this community is famous for its kindness with the tourists; they keep alive their traditions, customs and colorful clothing like the old times. These islanders are skillful artisans and they express in their work amazing techniques used by centuries by their ancestors. Lunch included.

DAY 6: SILLUSTANI’S CHULLPAS.
Morning free.
In the afternoon we’ll visit Sillustani, archeological site located at 34 KM north of Puno. Consist of the famous chullpas: Inca’s funerary circular towers built with stones, they reach 12 meters of height, they were used for the Collas(Inca’s wives) and the Inca(Inca’s empire king) , nearby is located the Umayo lake, which stands the beauty of this place out.
Then at night we will enjoy a great dinner buffet, with a spectacular show of dance, music and Peruvian folklore.

DAY 7: PUNO – CUSCO.
We direct to the bust station to depart to Cusco on a special bus, in this way you can fully enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the route and we’ll make some stops during the trip.
La Raya is the highest point of this journey (4335 meters above sea level) natural border between Cusco and Puno, from where we can get excellent photo shoots. Besides we’ll visit the Raqchi ruins known as the Wiracocha’s Temple (Inca’s god) this is an astonishing building with more than 90 meters of height and 25 meters of width, made of engraved stones and adobe( sun-dried brick) walls, and then we stop by Andahuaylillas town where we can see a beautiful church of XVII century which has an impressive organ decorated with angels and cherubs. Lunch during the journey. The arrival to Cusco is in the afternoon, then transfer to the hotel.

DAY 8: CITY TOUR, CATHEDRAL , KORICANCHA TEMPLE AND 4 RUINS.
Morning free to rest.
At 1:30pm we will start the guiding tour by the city, where we can visit 6 places.
First we will visit The Cathedral, which was built at 1560, this wonderful place is full of religious art, owns around 300 paints made by original Cusco people, and much more.
Then we direct to the Koricancha temple which means (surrounded by gold) nowadays is the convent of Sto. Domingo, where we can find in its interiors the main religious center in the Incas’ time. This archeological place is located in the Cusco’s city heart a few blocks from the main square.
Then the tour goes outwards of the city, stopping first at the sumptuous SACSAYHUAMAN which means in English (Puma’s head) majestic place which offer excellent work on stones, being the heaviest 120 tons. This stones were transported by The Inca’s workmen from far away. Here is place were used to be celebrated The Intiraymi or God Sun Festivity, every June 24th.
Just 200 meters away we can find our next visit: Kenko is the one, which means (Labyrinth) this place was a religious center where was made the earth worship, and according some theories, were made funerary rituals as well.
The next visit is about 10 minutes away, its name is Puca Pucara( reddish place) it was used as a military and control place, also was a stopping point for Inca’s travelers.
The last place for the visit is located 100 meters away from the previous one; it is Tambomachay (Water temple) it was used as adoration center and water worship.

DAY 9: SACRED VALLEY TOUR AND OLLANTAYTAMBO TOWN.
Breakfast at the hotel.
Pick up the guests from the hotel to start our tour by the Inca’s Sacred Valley.
First we will stop by the archeological site of Pisaq, this place due to its location was a strategic military point at the Inca’s time. Then we stop at the colorful Pisaq’s handicraft market to walk around it.
Then we continue our tour stopping at Urubamba town, to taste a delicious Buffet-lunch in Urubamba.
After lunch we direct to Ollantaytambo fort, Inca’s city which was a military, religious and agricultural center. This city is the only one which maintains until now its original Inca’s structure.
We immediately go to the train station to aboard the Train Vistadome service, way to Machu Picchu town.
A representative will wait for you at the train station to take you to the lodge

DAY 10: MACHU PICHU – RETURN TO CUSCO
After breakfast we direct to the bus station way to Machu Picchu Sanctuary, this trip by bus take around 25 minutes time, we travel by a road built around the mountain which finish at the citadel of Machu Picchu which is a World Heritage Site awarded by UNESCO.
After our visit we will get a lunch in Machu Picchu town.
Very important keep on mind to be back at the train station 30 minutes before departure time assigned. Return to Ollantaytambo or Poroy by the train Vistadome service. Transfer Ollantaytambo or Poroy to Cusco.

DAY 11: LAKE SANDOVAL / PUERTO MALDONADO / AIRPORT.
Early in the morning after breakfast we’ll walk by the same way, back to Puerto Maldonado and then to the airport to aboard the flight to Lima. (B)
